ABRAHAM CHIGBUNDU
Rev
(Dr) Abraham Chigbundu is the General Overseer of Voice of Freedom Ministries
Int'l Inc with Headquarters in Benin city, Nigeria. He is a man called
and specially anointed to set the captives free, an Apostle of Deliverance
to Africa in particular and the world in general. An outstanding teacher
and preacher in Spiritual Warfare and Deliverance Ministry since 1981
with undeniable testimonies, signs and wonders following his ministry
in Nigeria, other African countries, Europe, the Middle East and U.S.A. In 1990
and in 1992, Rev. Dr. Chigbundu introduced systematic deliverance in Ghana
and the black community in London respectively.He runs
a weekly TV programme on both local and national TV stations in Nigeria,
which has been on for over a decade. As a marriage counsellor, his practical
teachings on how to appreciate and enjoy marriage has transformed many
homes. He is married to Rev (Mrs) Florence Chigbundu and they are blessed
with four sons: Emmanuel, Faith, Obinna and David.

OF REV. MRS CHIGBUNDU
Rev (Mrs) Florence Chigbundu is the wife of the General Overseer,
Rev (Dr) Abraham Chigbundu. She is the Head of Pastor of Voice of Freedom
Ministries Int’l. Inc.
She is an anointed and accomplish minister of the gospel with special
insight into family and marriage. She is a renowned marriage consellor,
many homes have been restored through her ministry.
She is also the President General of Freedom Women Fellowship International
with headquarters in Benin City, Nigeria. The fellowship is an assembly
of women of great virtues, an amalgamation of women of like minds and
great potentials to affect their world.
She is blessed with four lovely boys

ABOUT THE MINISTRY
The Voice
of Freedom Ministries is a dynamic and fast growing Church, dedicated
to the total liberation of the lives of men and women from satanic bondages.
The Ministry seeks to break the chains and yokes that seem inextricable
in the eyes of many who have been held bound by unseen forces of evil.
Rev. (Dr.) Abraham Chigbundu is the man who God has chosen to pilot the
affairs of this unique ministry.
The Voice of Freedom Ministries Int'l Inc which was until 1st January,
2000 known as The Mark of Christ Ministries Inc started as a Fellowship
on the 23rd March, 1983,
Soon, the impact of the fellowship
was felt in the realms of the spirit and this attracted reactions in the
form of persecutions to unsettle it
In
November 1986, Rev. Chigbundu introduced deliverance ministration into
the fellowship, which resulted in population explosion as more women and
men joined the fellowship. The direction of the ministration at this stage
began to change with the introduction of deliverance ministration. It
was no longer seen as a 'mere' house fellowship, but rather, as a ministry
about to be hatched. The rate at which new members came in increased and
by August, 1987, the membership had risen to one hundred and fifty. it
secured a place large enough to accommodate everyone at 139, Sapele Road
Benin City in September, 1987, and remained there for a long time.
During the period of relocation, many members fell away and it seems as
just starting all over again.
In 1988, Tuesday meetings were introduced. Hitherto, meetings were held
on Saturdays only. The first Tuesday meeting was attended by only four
persons.
In the light of the foregoing, Rev. (Dr.) Abraham Chigbundu, sought the
face of God and got His approval to undertake a thorough re-organisation
of the fellowship and decided that it would not simply be a fellowship
but a full fledged Ministry. Thus, the Mark of Christ Ministries was born,
with Dr. Chigbundu as the leader and presiding Minister.
It
is pertinent to note that the present Voice of Freedom Ministry became
a ministry in 1989 and has since then grown to attain worldwide recognition.
Sunday service which was the beginning of 'church' based ministry started
on the 10th of March 1996. Before then, services were held on Saturdays
and Tuesdays. Under the leading of the Holy Spirit, the name of the ministry
was changed in January 2000 to reflect God's call, assignment and mandate
upon Rev (Dr) Abraham Chigbundu. The emphasis of the ministry is total
freedom for the total man-spirit, soul and body. This ministry, through
its faith clinic, has set at liberty many demons possessed, afflicted
and tormented persons.
The
Ministry began to propagate God's word in printed form with the establishment
of the “Voice of Freedom Publications.” It has since published many books;
amongst which are; 'Loose him and let him go' 'Discover to recover' 'Changing
the Wicked Times and Seasons' 'I believe in deliverance' 'Achievers' secrets'
'Witchcraft manipulations exposed' 'Learning in the School of Marriage'
etc. These books have blessed many lives both within and outside our shores.
The
Freedom Bible College, an arm of the Ministry, was established because
of the need to train people in Theology and deliverance as well as equipping
them to war against the dark kingdom. It has truly lived up to this vision.

VISION & MISSION ANALYSIS
Vision is the mandate of God upon the ministry. Proverbs 29:18
KEY SCRIPTURES: OBADIAH 17, ISAIAH 61: 1-3, JOHN 11:44, JOHN 10:10, ROMANS 3: 23 & COL. 1:13
The above scriptures are the foundation of this commission. God spoke to me and said, Son, I have called you for the afflicted, tormented, bound and imprisoned children of mine. Go and set them free through the instrumentality of my word by the power of the Holy Ghost and in the name of Jesus my Son Lk. 4:18.
Son, multitudes of my children are in bondage because of their ignorance Hosea 4:6, Isaiah. 5:13, Expose the enemies devices and strategies to them and also expose them to my word and power that can set them free.
INTRODUCTION:-
No leader and ministry will be able to fulfill God’s mandate in this world until the leader knows God’s purpose for his life and ministry. The church can only be built through the revealed plan to man, which is vision. Jesus knew His vision. The name Voice of Freedom Ministries is synonymous with DELIVERANCE, Deliverance to a TOTAL MAN: BODY, SOUL AND SPIRIT – Isaiah 61:1-3. The vision is fourfold:-snatch them, Deliver them, Teach them and Engaged them.
1) SNATCH MEN AND WOMEN FROM THE HAND OF THE WICKED ONE:- Isaiah 61:1-3, Jn. 10:10, Roms. 3:23 & Col. 1:13
Salvation embraces Deliverance – a man cannot be delivered until he is snatched from the power of sin and its consequences, this has to do with soul – winning patterned after the method of our Lord Jesus Christ. For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Salvation is therefore the foundation for deliverance OBA. 1:17.
2) DELIVER THEM FROM ALL ENTANGLEMENTS OF THE WICKED THROUGH THE TEACHING OF THE WORD OF GOD AND THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT – Matt. 28:19-20,Isaiah 61:1-3, Jn. 11:44.
Deliver them from all entanglements of the wicked one apart from deliverance from sin. They must be delivered from bad habits, bondages to Ancestral covenants and dedications as a result of wrong foundations laid by their Ancestors and grave cloth that came upon them before their conversion. We do this by exposing the people to the scriptures that shows the devices of the enemy and by the power of the Holy Ghost letting the people to discover the enemy’s entry points and activities and destroy them in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and by the power of the Holy Ghost.
3) TRAIN AND EQUIP THE SAINTS: Matt. 28:19-20, Mk.3: 13-14, ll Tm. 2:1-2 & 15 This has to do with teaching and equipping the believers on how to:-
A. Live a victorious and dominion Christian life (Living above sin, ability to handle temptations etc) l Jn. 3:9. Taking control over sickness, failure, demonic attacks, financial hardship and mental dominion – Gen.1:26-28.
B. Teaching and equipping the saints on kingdom principle of prosperity through (Giving, Tithing and Offering, Seed faith etc). Hating poverty with passion, for He Jesus became poor so that we might become rich through His poverty – ll Cor. 8:9, Matt. 16:19, Eccl. 10:15, 3 John 2, Matt. 6:33, Luke 6:38.
C. Teaching and equipping the saints on how to possess their possession through spiritual warfare – being filled with the Holy Ghost and power and teaching all manner of prayers – Eph. 6:18, prayer of binding and losing - Matt. 18:18, Mk. 3:27, prayer of faith Mk. 11:12 – 14, 20:24, Eccl. 8:4 and prayer of wresting and groaning Roms. 8:26, Gen. 32:24-26, uprooting kingdom of darkness e.t.c. and establishing new kingdom – Jer. 1:10, Deut. 2:24, ll Cor. 10:3-5, Eph. 6:12
D. Teaching and preparing the saints for heaven: - Through Holiness, no compromise and no unequal yoke with the enemy – Jn. 14:1, ll Cor. 6:16, l Cor. 6:15-20, Eph. 4:1-4, Roms. 12:1.
To live above sin. To love God with all your heart and to love brethren same. To be honest in all issues and avoid any appearance of evil.
4. ENGAGE THEM IN THE MINISTRY: - Jn. 15:16, Mk. 3:13-15, ll Tim. 2:1-4. Having been equipped, send the saints to go and impact their generation. God spoke to me that every member of this ministry is a minister in his or her own right.
The ultimate goal in our Vision is to train and equip every believer to be a minister of the gospel.

THE DOCTRINE OF VOICE OF FREEDOM MINISTRIES (OUR BELIEF)
KEY SCRIPTURE – 2 Timothy 3:16
All scriptures are given by inspiration of God and are profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
DEFINITION:
Doctrine is a belief or set of beliefs held and taught by a church or any group of persons.
- THE GENERAL OVERSEER:
The General Overseer is the visionary and spiritual head of the ministry and the father of all. Heb. 5:4, Psalm 89:20
2. THE GENERAL OVERSEER’S WIFE:
She is the Head Pastor and also the mother of the Church.
3. ORDINATION:
We believe in the ordination of leaders in the Church. For example:
Pastors, Associate Pastors, Elders, Deacons, Deaconess etc. l Tim. 2:7,
Mk. 3:14.
4. PUNCTUALITY:
We believe in being punctual and regular to church programmes. e.g.
Sunday services, bible study, Mid-week services etc. Heb. 10:25.
5. MEMBERSHIP PARTICIPATION:
We believe that every serious member of the church must belong to any
of the activity groups in the church. For example: the Choir, Usher, and
Prayer Band etc. Every member must belong to one of the cardinal
groups of the Church, Mighty Men, Freedom Women, Kingdom
Builders from 20 years upward who are single and the Blessed
Generation from 13 – 19 years. Rom. 12:4-8, l Cor. 12:7-12.
6. HOME CELL FELLOWSHIP:
We believe in the operation of the local church through the home cell
fellowship. Therefore, every member must belong to the home cell
fellowship for proper identification. Acts 2:46.
7. FINANCES:
We believe in the financial commitment of every member of the local
church. For example Tithing, Offering, Mission and Main Offering,
Prophet Offering, Vows, Sacrificial offering and prophetic offering. Luke
6:38, Malachi 3:8 -11, Psalm 50:5, l Kings 17:10 - 16
8. DAYS OF WORSHIP:
We believe that you can worship God every day of the week and that is
why every true member of this ministry must attend weekly services. For
example Sunday Service, Tuesday bible study, home cell fellowship on
Friday etc.
9. DELIVERANCE:
We believe in the total freedom of man, body, spirit, and soul hence every
member of this ministry must go through the faith clinic which is the
deliverance arm of the ministry. Obadiah 17; Isaiah 49:24-25.
10. WELFARE OF PASTORS:
We believe in the welfare of Pastors, hence every member is expected to
take care of their pastors. 1 Cor. 9:9-14, Jn. 12:1-8.
10B. WELFARE OF MEMBERS:
We believe that every member should be taken care of when in need.
For example Hospitalization, Business Financials, Soft Loan to
Brethren, delivery etc. Acts 6:1-6.
11. TRAINING:
We believe in the training and re- training of our members. Hence we
expect members’ productivity in all segment of the ministry. 2 Tim.
2:15.
12. HOLY LIVING:
We believe in Holy and righteous living of believers. Hence we expect
members of this church to practice holiness in their daily living. Rom.
12:1, Lev. 20:7, Eph. 1:4.
13. WATER BAPTISM:
We believe in water baptism by immersion of adults who have accepted
Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour. Hence infants are not
baptized in this ministry. Matt. 28:19-20.
14. HOLY GHOST BAPTISM:
We believe in the Holy Ghost baptism with the evidence of speaking in
tongues. Acts. 2:4, 19:6.
15. THANKSGIVING:
We believe in giving thanks to God, this we do monthly, in the mid- year
and annually. Lk. 17:17 Psalm 105:1-5.
16. BABY DEDICATION:
We believe in baby dedication, as it is biblical. Just like Jesus was
brought into the temple for dedication Luke. 2:27. Dedications shall be
carried out every 3rd Sunday of the month
17. FIVE – FOLD MINISTRY:
We believe in the five – fold ministry as recorded in Ephesians 4:11, that
is the ministry of the Apostle , Prophets, Evangelist, Pastors and
Teachers.
18. COMMUNION (LORD SUPPER):
We believe in communion, as it is one of the commandments of our Lord Jesus Christ. And it helps us to remember and identify with the death and resurrection of our Lord. It also brings healing, life, deliverance, prosperity etc. to our body when taken today. Matt. 29:26-29, l Cor. 11:23-30.
19. DRESSING:
We do not believe in a particular way of dressing to church but that
every member must be modest in their dressing as commanded in the
bible.
20. THE BIBLE:
We believe in the entire bible, as it is the infallible word of God. Nothing
can be added and nothing can be removed. Rev. 22:18- 19, Heb. 6:17.
21. EVANGELISM & SOUL WINNING:
We believe in soul winning. That every member should obey the great
commission, which our Lord Jesus gave before his departure. Matt.
28:19-20.
22. WEDDING:
The ministry believed in the sanctity of marriage and that every member
wishing to marry must be enrolled into the marriage counseling class, completion of native law & custom ceremony is not enough to enter into marriage. All marriages must received pastoral blessings in a church or office wedding.
