ABOUT THE COLLEGE
Freedom Bible College (FBC) came into being in the year 1998 from the structure of the former School of Deliverance which trained a large army of believers in Deliverance Arts since her inception in 1988.
The School was founded by Rev. Dr. Abraham Chigbundu to provide all round ministerial training and to equip Spirit-filled believers to excel in God's service. Freedom Bible College's philosophy is based on a commitment to an education of excellence. This goal is accomplished through a training programme that is practical and relevant in a spirit empowered environment.
Our Pentecostal distinctive features include, upholding sound biblical doctrine and the Holy Spirit's anointing for Ministry empowerment. Our setting is trans-denominational. Our pool of lecturers have various backgrounds in Christian Ministries including church planting, Pastoral evangelism, marriage counseling, children ministry, missions, and deliverance; thus enabling students to acquire fresh experience.
At FBC it is a vision of excellence in life and ministry. It is a vision of developing people. It is a vision of making disciples. It is also a vision of training believers to becoming effective deliverance Minister.
Freedom Bible College runs a one year Diploma course, which is in three parts. The central core of the programme is deliverance. The other two parts contain subjects on practical theology and on leadership development courses. The 12-month course has 324 hours of lecture and 72 hours of practical ministration. The programme is divided into two equal semesters of six months.
Lectures hold on Fridays 5 - 8pm and on Saturdays 10am - 4pm. The practical commence during the last 5 months of training and hold on Wednesdays and Thursdays between the hours of 4 - 8pm

PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES:
The programme is aimed at training individual Church members, persons who have a call into the ministry, and ministers who are already serving as associate pastors or head pastors in ministries. The programme will equip trainees with:
- Counselling and deliverance methods to function effectively in their Churches.
- Knowledge and skills to engage the dark kingdom in spiritual warfare and ministering deliverance to those who are ignorantly held captives in the prison of Satan.
- Additionally, the programme will equip persons in ministry and those willing to give - up themselves for the Master's (Jesus) use with the knowledge and confidence needed for successful ministry.
- Equip ministers and prospective ministers with the knowledge and skills needed to enhance Church growth, as well as the harmonious management of the flock of Christ.
- Enhancement in spiritual development that is needed by Church leaders to remove spiritual dryness from amongst members which has made Church members to become religious nomads (wanderers).
- Developing the Whole Person:- The college places strong emphasis on your development as a whole person. Therefore, we pay as much attention to your personal, practical, social and spiritual growth as to academic excellence, and you will be assigned to a personal tutor who monitors your overall progress throughout the year. At the heart of the tutorial system is the tutorial group of twelve students. With the rest of your group, you will meet for worship and social activities and spend an hour each week discussing issues of mutual benefit to one another. With students from diverse backgrounds, countries and cultures, the value of these groups for interchange and cross-cultural development is inestimable

CURRICULUM
A student shall normally be required to register for and take a minimum of 60 credits during each semester, and a total of 120 credits during the 12 months programme. A credit as used here means a series of lectures of three (or four) hours per week lasting for a given period. The purpose of these courses is to give believers a general understanding and overview of these subjects so that they will have the basic skills and knowledge needed to equip them to serve effectively as Ministers of God in their homes, families, business, professions, Churches, ministries and wheresoever God has called them to be and to serve.
One of the greatest benefits of education is the ability to find information on any subject when it is needed. FBC courses are meant to impart knowledge, skill and wisdom, as well as motivate students to learn how to get more when it is needed. Students are therefore encouraged to depend on the Holy Spirit - the Spirit who leads us into all Truth and to study to show themselves approved unto God.
